Launched earlier this month, the Games on Demand service for Games for Windows Live is holding a sale until January 4. Six games can be had for 50% of their normal price, and while they aren't any of the bigger titles available, a deal is a deal.
Open your Games for Windows Live client (or download it from here if you don't already have it installed) and you'll be able to find the following games for half price: Osmos ($4.99), Shadowrun ($9.99), Viva Pinata ($9.99), Mahjong Wisdom ($4.99), Where's Waldo: The Fantastic Journey ($7.49), and World of Goo ($9.99). Each game comes Live-enabled and has Achievements, which is sure to be attractive to some but isn't nearly the strong selling point for a game on PC as it is on Xbox 360.
The sale is to celebrate the launch of the service and isn't a holiday sale; given how close we are to Christmas, it's unlikely we'll be seeing any sort of holiday sale this year.
